Our story
WearAble by Lega first began as LegaWear in 2008, driven by David Lega’s personal need and a passion for inclusive fashion. After retiring from his career as a Paralympic swimmer,
David found it nearly impossible to find well-fitting, professional clothes for his growing number of public engagements. With smaller shoulders, thinner arms, and shorter legs, off-the-rack options didn’t work, and tailored clothing in Sweden was prohibitively expensive.
